AMBA SPA & COVID - 19 UPDATE
Our team is thrilled to be able to welcome you back to AMBA Spa.
To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and team members, we have implemented the following safety standards and protocols with the guidance of the College of Massage Therapy (CMTO) and Ontario’s Ministry of Health.
Your safety is our highest priority and we have taken many precautions to ensure a superior level of cleanliness and sterility at all AMBA Spa locations.
We have put the following practices into place at all AMBA Spa locations:
Prior to arrival, we will be calling all guests who are visiting our spas to determine if you have traveled , have any symptoms that would indicate you are feeling unwell, or if you have had any recent contact with anyone who has been unwell.
For employees, we have a zero-symptom allowed policy. Our team is asked to stay home if they are showing any signs of illness.
Last minute cancellation fees will be waived if you are showing any signs of illness. Cancellation fees will still apply for no-show appointments.
We will stagger arrival times to ensure our guests arrive at different times, to alleviate any congestion around the spa.
Guests will be screened upon arrival for their service to ensure that there are no COVID symptoms.
If you develop any symptoms prior to arrival for your spa services, please call and reschedule. Symptoms include any of the following:
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat/painful swallowing
- Loss of sense of smell
- Excessive fatigue
- Stuffy/runny nose
- Headaches or muscle aches not related to an injury, that presents like flu-like symptoms
If you are showing any of the above symptoms, you will not be allowed to enter the spa and continue with your services. We will reschedule your services for you after you are feeling better.
Both our team and spa guests are asked to wear a mask during their time in the spas.
We ask you to arrive alone and 10 minutes prior to your treatment.
Hotel guests are asked to leave all of their belongings and coats in their hotel room as there will be no changing rooms to put your belongings in.
Hand hygiene is required upon entering and leaving the Spa.
Increased disinfection protocols have been put in place to ensure that all high touch surfaces, tables, light switches, door handles, floors are all wiped and cleaned on a regular basis.
At this time we have modified some of our spa services for your continued safety. We will not be offering facials until the Ministry of Health advises it is safe to do so, as we are required to wear masks. We have created new packages to be able to offer you fantastic services that we know you will enjoy!
At this time, clients are not permitted to lounge in the spa before or after your treatments.
For your continued safety, coffee/tea, water and magazines have all been removed from the spa reception area. You may ask your therapist for a glass of water.
